In this online Oracle Database 12c course you will learn how to install an Oracle Database 12c and how to upgrade earlier versions.
The course starts with the most important components of the
Oracle Database 11g R2, including memory structures, background
processes and storage structures. Then you will continue to plan
and install the Oracle Database 12c, the Grid infrastructure and
the post-installation tasks.
You will also learn more
about the upgrade and migration methods, how to prepare yourself
and how to upgrade earlier versions. Finally, you will learn how to
perform post-upgrade tasks and how to use Oracle Data Pump to move
migration data.
Result
You know how to upgrade previous versions of the Oracle Databases and how to install Oracle Database 12c. This course also prepares for the Oracle exam 1Z0-062.
