Power BI Desktop is a data analysis tool that allows you to create engaging, interactive visual reports. In this Bootcamp you will learn how to use this tool. The Bootcamp consists of four sessions in which an expert will tell you everything you need to know about working with Power BI Desktop. The bootcamp also helps you prepare for the Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst (PL-300) exam. The first three sessions are aimed at users who want to get to know Power BI Desktop. During the first three sessions you will learn the basics of Power BI Desktop. You will learn about the basic functionalities of the tool and you will learn how to work with a variety of data sources. In addition, the sessions will cover manipulating data and using data modeling, including understanding different schemas, how to work with measures and columns, perform calculations, and apply filters. Furthermore publishing to PowerBi.com is covered. You will learn how to create and share Power BI dashboards and how to work with reports on PowerBi.com. The fourth and final session is aimed at advanced users of Power BI Desktop. During this session you will learn about advanced calculations, time intelligence and aggregations. You will also get to work with advanced visualizations and tables, and advanced filtering and slicing.
Before attending the Bootcamp, download a free trial of Power BI Desktop from https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/desktop/ if you don't already have an installation of the application.
The Bootcamp consists of:

- E-learning modules.
- Practical assignments that can be carried out immediately.
- Q&A
- Sparring / chatting with fellow course participants.
- Tutoring by instructors.
The next Bootcamp is scheduled for the following dates:
- Session 1: Tuesday 03-05-2022 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
- Session 2: Wednesday 04-05-2022 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
- Session 3: Thursday 05-05-2022 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
- Session 4: Friday 06-05-2022 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
If you would like to follow the sessions via your phone or tablet, no problem! Unfortunately, the bootcamp via your phone or tablet cannot be accessed from the learning environment. On the starting day of the bootcamp you will receive a link before noon that you can use to follow the bootcamp via your phone or tablet. If you did not receive the link, please contact us by mail or phone.
What if you can't attend one of the Live Bootcamps? Then you can watch the replay before you start the next one. Please contact us by mail or phone. You are not required to have attended a live session in order to participate in the next one.

The lab enviromentconsist of complete networks containing for example, clients, servers,etc. This is the ultimate way to gain extensive hands-on experience.
