In this online training, you will get to work with Jira Cloud. Jira allows you to quickly create and efficiently manage projects. In this training you will start with an introduction to Jira Cloud. You will learn how to create projects and how to set them up. Then you will explore boards, such as Scrum and Kanban, within Jira projects. Both the configuration and management of boards will be discussed. In addition, you'll learn how to manage tasks in a software project through sprints, project estimates, time tracking and so on. Finally, you will discover how to generate visual reports from your projects.
Result
After completing this training, you will be familiar with Jira Cloud and you will be able to manage your projects efficiently in this environment.

JIRA Cloud: Creating & Setting Up Projects
Jira allows you to quickly create and manage projects. In order to start using Jira you will need to know how to sign in an navigate the application interface. Once you have familiarized yourself with the interface you can start creating projects. Jira has two project types Classic and Next Gen. Each project has it's own advantages and templates to match your project needs.
After creating projects, you may need to assign or update your project lead. You can also assign and create workflows to help your projects stay on track. If your working in a multinational environment it's important to know how to set up your Jira language and regional settings to be sure everyone is on the same page.
JIRA Cloud: Configuring & Managing Boards
Jira projects contain boards such as scrum and Kanban. These boards can be customized and configured to met your projects needs. Once you've created boards you can start managing your projects by adding issues and subtasks.
To get the most out of your boards, you can easily configure the filters, columns and overall display. With Next Gen projects you can activate and use features such as version and release to create versions of your project as changes are made.
JIRA Cloud: Planning & Working on a Software Project
Once you have created a software project, you will need to know
- how to manage your issues and tasks. In this 10-video course,
- discover how to add epics, manage sprints, and track changes. Also,
- learn how to link issues and enable issues or project estimations.
- Begin by learning how to create epic as well as add and remove
- issues to and from the created epic. Discover how to create
- sprints, add issues, and update sprints in your projects. Then take
- a look at steps involved in ranking and flagging issues in an
- active sprint; set up estimation statistics and enable time
- tracking for scrum projects; and observe how to configure time
- tracking permissions and enable or disable time tracking in Classic
- projects. Learners will explore how to activate workflows and add
- transitions, open workflows in text mode and add steps. Delve into
- creating versions in Jira, adding issues, and monitoring progress.
- Learn how to manage issue linking and configure the order of linked
- issues, and finally, monitor sprint and epics by using burndown
- charts in Jira.
JIRA Cloud: Reporting in Jira Software
To keep an eye on how your project is performing, you can generate reports. Reports give you a visual representation of your project issues.
You can create Jira reports for sprints, versions, created issues as well as resolved issues. See how to access the reports feature and choose the report you need to analyze your projects data quickly and clearly.

The only thing you need to use our practice labs is a web browser. In the LiveLab environment you will find exercises which you can start immediately. The lab enviromentconsist of complete networks containing for example, clients, servers,etc. This is the ultimate way to gain extensive hands-on experience.

Met een zakelijk account bent u automatisch beheerder van uw organisatie en kunt u naast cursisten ook managers aanmaken. Beheerders en managers kunnen tevens voortgang inzien van alle cursisten binnen uw organisatie.
