Live Online Bootcamp CompTIA Security+ Crash Course

CompTIA Security+ is a global certification that validates the baseline skills you need to perform core security functions and pursue an IT security career.

The Security+ Bootcamp is a fast-paced, highly condensed crash course for those students who are getting ready to take the Security+ exam in the next few weeks. It is also an excellent course for those who want to discover the depth and breadth of the exam and build their security knowledge foundation for the real world. The course will cover the high-points and more difficult topics of all Security+ domains as well as examine the special question types that test-takers will encounter on the exam.

The Bootcamp consists of:

• Four live training sessions guided by an expert.
• Extensive teaching material:
  • Livelab.
  • E-learning modules.
  • Practical assignments that can be carried out immediately.
• Sparring / chatting with fellow students.
• Guidance by teachers.

The following topics will be covered during the four live sessions:

• Session 1: Threats, Attacks, Vulnerabilities, Social Engineering, Application and Service Attacks, Cryptography and PKI.
• Session 2: Vulnerability Assessment, Testing, Scanning, Infrastructure Equipment, Wireless Attacks and Security, and Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM).
• Session 3: Overview of secure protocols, security standards, secure network architecture, concepts for secure development, virtualization and cloud computing, and Physical Security.
• Session 4: Identity and Access Management, Security Operations, Security Policy, Risk Management, Incident response and forensics, and Business Continuity Planning.

The next Bootcamp is planned on the following dates:

• Session 1: Monday 07-10-2024 from 5pm to 9pm.
• Session 2: Tuesday 08-10-2024 from 5pm to 9pm.
• Session 3: Wednesday 09-10-2024 from 5pm to 9pm.
• Session 4: Thursday 10-10-2024 from 5pm to 9pm.
• Session 5: Friday 11-10-2024 from 5pm to 9pm.

If you would like to follow the sessions via your phone or tablet, no problem! Unfortunately, the bootcamp via your phone or tablet cannot be accessed from the learning environment. On the starting day of the bootcamp you will receive a link before noon that you can use to follow the bootcamp via your phone or tablet. If you did not receive the link, please contact us by mail or phone.

What if you can't attend one of the Live Bootcamps? You are not required to have attended a live session in order to participate in the next one. Within three weeks after the last session, replay sessions of the Live Bootcamp will be made available. You can find these in the knowledge library of your online learning environment.
